Deutsche Konsum REIT acquires two food-anchored properties for EUR 15 million/Annual report 2018/2019 published

Broderstorf, 18 December 2019 - With recent notarisations Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG ("DKR") (ISIN DE000A14KRD3) has acquired a hypermarket in Trier (Rhineland-Palatinate) and a grocery discounter store in Herzebrock-Clarholz (North Rhine-Westphalia).

The property in Trier is known as "Mosel-Einkaufs-Zentrum" and is situated in an excellent and well-established retail location. The property has a rental area of around 11,600 m² and is rented to real,- hypermarket (Metro Group) as a triple-net agreement which is favourable for DKR in terms of the operating margin. The WALT is currently around 2.0 years and features prolongation options.

Moreover DKR has acquired a grocery discounter store in Herzebrock-Clarholz with a rental space of around 1,000 m² which is rented to Netto (EDEKA Group). The WALT currently is 1.3 years plus prolongation options.

The total annual rent of both properties amounts to around EUR 2.0 million.

Including these acquisitions in the financial year 2019/2020 the property portfolio of Deutsche Konsum grew by 14 properties with a purchase volume of around EUR 90 million already. Thus, the total portfolio (pro forma) currently comprises of 136 properties with a total rental space of more than 820,000 m² and a book value of around EUR 715 million as well as an annual rent of around EUR 57.5 million.

In addition, DKR is in concrete purchasing processes and expects further acquisitions shortly.
