Deutsche Konsum REIT acquired retail properties in Torgelow, Sassnitz and Leipzig

Broderstorf, March 5th 2018 - Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG (ISIN DE000A14KRD3) has notarised the acquisition of three high-yield retail properties.

These comprise of a retail centre in Torgelow (Mecklenburg-Pomerania) with the anchor tenants REWE (grocery), OBI DIY store and Dänisches Bettenlager (interior supply). Total rental space of the properties which were built in 1994 and 1999 amounts to 7,500 sqm. Annualised rent is EUR 0.8 million with a WALT of 4 years (lease extension options exist).

Moreover the acquisition include a Hagebaumarkt DIY store in Sassnitz (Mecklenburg-Pomerania). It is one of two DIY stores on the island of Ruegen. The 1994 built property has a total rental space of roughly 3,300 sqm. Annualised rent is EUR 0.2 million at a WALT of 1.8 years (lease extension options exist).

Furthermore DKR acquired the Asia retail centre "Dong Xuan Market" in Leipzig (Saxony). For more than 20 years the location is a well-established retail trade centre for Asian food, textiles, gifts and other supplies for caterers and traders in the middle of Germany. The buildings have a total rental space of 8,700 sqm and the annualised rent is EUR 0.8 million. The majority of rental agreements are without expiration.

All acquired assets are fully let. The total investment volume amounts to EUR 15.9 million which implies an initial yield of more than 11.3 %. Transfer of ownership is expected to occur on May 1st 2018.

By adding these properties the current (pro forma) property portfolio of Deutsche Konsum REIT comprises of 82 retail properties with an annualised rent of EUR 29.1 million.

Deutsche Konsum remains very active in further concrete purchase processes.
