Company

The company was founded in Germany under the name Stafford Grundbesitz GmbH in October 2008. Following a change of legal form in November 2014, the company was converted into a public limited company, Deutsche Konsum Grundbesitz AG. In December 2015, it was listed on the Berlin Stock Exchange. The company had held REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) status since January 2016 and was therefore exempt from income tax. Since then, it has operated under the name Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG. Since March 2017, Deutsche Konsum REIT-AG shares have been listed in the Prime Standard segment of the German Stock Exchange.

At the Extraordinary General Meeting in 2025, the Company decided to change its name. This took effect upon entry in the commercial register on 27 January 2026. Since then, the company has been operating under the name Deutsche Konsum Real Estate AG.

The company's purpose is to acquire and manage an attractive retail portfolio in established micro-locations in regional and medium-sized centres in Germany.
